Shout out to Bill Richardson: It's Time To Share!

Attacks from Clinton supporter, James ("Serpent Head" as his wife affectionately calls him) Carville on Bill Richardson are to be expected.

Carville not-so-eloquently called him "Judas" when Richardson endorsed Obama.

Carville is not one to apologize and everything is done with a purpose. He later added:

When asked on Good Friday about Richardson’s rejection of the Clintons, the metaphor was too good to pass by. I compared Richardson to Judas Iscariot. (And Matthew Dowd is right: Had it been the Fourth of July, I probably would have called him Benedict Arnold.)

Richardson did release this statement in the Washington Post, but it is not enough.
Bill Clinton apparently erupted over Richardson, and now sources are reporting that Hillary told Richardson that Obama cannot win, when he informed her of his plans to endorse Obama. Now it is being floated that Richardson was the one who said to Hillary that Obama can't win.

Why would Richardson say this and then endorse Obama?

In the statement Richardson made he said:
It was a difficult and heated discussion, the details of which I will not share here.

Bill, now is the time to share.

The American people and voters have a right to know.

Step forward now forward now and clear up this mess before it further harms the Democratic Party you claim to love.

Tell us is this recent activity another case of deceit and lies from the Clinton campaign in an effort to sway Super Delegates and discredit you? Or is there more to it?

Hillary we know Rocky, and you are no Rocky! Six Reasons

Hillary Balboa??

Recalling a famous scene on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Clinton said :

"Let me tell you something, when it comes to finishing a fight, Rocky and I have a lot in common. I never quit. I never give up.

How is Hillary like or not like Rocky?

#1
In the original Rocky movie, Rocky Balboa
is the underdog, a unknown fighter who comes
works his way up when given a chance to fight
the champion (Apollo Creed). As his popularity
grows he inspires everyone who starts to believe
and back him. He gives hope, pride, and belief to
people that anyone can rise up, succeed and make
a difference. Yet Apollo Creed, like Hillary,
self proclaimed himself the best and unbeatable as
his public persona. He figured he could just "play"
with Rocky and win easily. Even when he realizedhe was up
against a true challenger he played his role right
to the final bell. Hillary seems to forget just a few short
months ago she was the (still uncrowned) favorite and
champion. She acted like it then, but now has taken on
the role of the underdog. Hillary is still Apollo Creed
trying to wear a Rocky disguise. It's apparent if there
is a Rocky in this race, it certainly is not Hillary Clinton.

#2
The Rocky statue was ultimately removed from the top
of the stairs of the art museum, when it was deemed not
be be "art". It was moved and finally restored back by
the museum at the bottom of the stairs.

All of Hillary's negative campaigning, lies, and outright
attempts to steal the nomination should backlash
against her. It's time for the voters to realize she too is
not "art" and relegate her back to the bottom of the steps
back in the Senate). Hillary can try to enact being
Presidential with all "35 years of experience", but she like
the statue she really is only a "prop".

#3
In the movie Rocky when Rocky runs up the steps, he realizes
"yes, he can" and knows he is ready to take on the champion
against all odds. This is not Hillary. He then loses on points in the championship match. Hillary should be careful
what she claims. She just might run all the way to the
convention; where she too will lose on points (delegates).

#4
Unlike Rocky, Hillary punches below the belt! She won't quit,
will use any tactic to win, and doesn't care what the aftermath is.
Her corner men (and women) are even worse. Rocky was just the opposite!

#5
In the movie, both Rocky and Apollo Creed (the champion)
batter each other for 15 rounds only to have the decision
made by the "judges". As seen in subsequent Rocky sequels
this beating up of each other allowed many other challengers
with less talent step up and seize the stage. Will this happen
with Hillary taking Obama for 15 rounds when she should of quit?

#6
And finally, look who is endorsing John McCain!

Yet, perhaps he still hasn't the true challenger,
rising up with a message of hope, belief and change.

No matter what, we know one thing to be true:

Hillary we know Rocky, and you are no Rocky!

Perhaps Hillary should look at some of Stallone's other movies, like Rambo when he was fighting in Afghanistan. With all her sniper experience in Bosnia, that seems like a natural!

Bill Clinton goes on a tirade; Stuns delegates!!!

Bill Clinton's tirade stunned some delegates - story at
San Francisco Chronicle.

Bill Clinton met privately with superdelages in California and was a nothing like the gracious elder statesman who recently urged fellow Democrats to "chill out". Clinton had one of his increasingly common meltdowns Sunday. At one point he blasted Bill Richardson for having endorsed Obama.

"Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that," a red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton erupted.

Richardson and Clinton watching the Super Bowl in February

News of Bill Clinton's tirade got back to the Richardson people, and spokesman Pahl Shipley reiterated Tuesday that his boss had never "promised or guaranteed" Bill and Hillary his endorsement.

Hillary Lies, Denials and Whopper Lies!

Hillary’s List of Lies
By Dick Morris and Eileen McGann
Thursday, March 27, 2008

The USA Today/Gallup survey clearly explains why Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) is losing. Asked whether the candidates were “honest and trustworthy,” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) won with 67 percent, with Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) right behind him at 63. Hillary scored only 44 percent, the lowest rating for any candidate for any attribute in the poll.
Hillary simply cannot tell the truth. Here’s her scorecard:

Admitted Lies

• Chelsea was jogging around the Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (She was in bed watching it on TV.)

• Hillary was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. (She admitted she was wrong. He climbed Mt. Everest five years after her birth.)

• She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. (A girl presented her with flowers at the foot of the ramp.)

• She learned in The Wall Street Journal how to make a killing in the futures market. (It didn’t cover the market back then.)

Whoppers She Won’t Confess To
• She didn’t know about the FALN pardons.

• She didn’t know that her brothers were being paid to get pardons that Clinton granted.

• Taking the White House gifts was a clerical error.

• She didn’t know that her staff would fire the travel office staff after she told them to do so.

• She didn’t know that the Peter Paul fundraiser in Hollywood in 2000 cost $700,000 more than she reported it had.

• She opposed NAFTA at the time.

• She was instrumental in the Irish peace process.

• She urged Bill to intervene in Rwanda.

• She played a role in the ’90s economic recovery.

• The billing records showed up on their own.

• She thought Bill was innocent when the Monica scandal broke.

• She was always a Yankees fan.

• She had nothing to do with the New Square Hasidic pardons (after they voted for her 1,400-12 and she attended a meeting at the White House about the pardons).

• She negotiated for the release of refugees in Macedonia (who were released the day before she got there).

Senator Casy of Pennsyslvania endorses Obama

Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey plans to endorse Sen. Barack Obama for president today in Pittsburgh. This will help send a message both to the state's primary voters and to undecided superdelegates who might decide the close race for the Democratic presidential nomination. The endorsement comes as something of a surprise. Casey, a deliberative and cautious politician, had been adamant about remaining neutral until after the April 22 primary. He had said he wanted to help unify the party after the intensifying fight between Obama and Clinton.

Senator Patrick Leahy nominates Hillary to drop out and support Obama

Will a long, nasty, battle as we are seeing beetween Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination hurt the Party's chances of winning the November election?

Obama supporter, Senator Patrick Leahy, thinks Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race for the Democratic Party nomination for President in 2008.

"There is no way that Senator Clinton is going to win enough delegates to get the nomination. She ought to withdraw and she ought to be backing Senator Obama.

How can you trust Hillary Clinton if she will tell lies like this?

"I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."

--Hillary Clinton, from a speech given at George Washington University, March 17, 2008.

Hillary Clinton has been telling tales of a trip she made to Bosnia in March 1996.
In her version she claims seh was sent to places that her husband, President Clinton, could not go because they were "too dangerous."

When her account was challenged by one of her traveling companions, the comedian Sinbad, she upped the ante and injected even more drama into the story. In a speech earlier this week, she talked about "landing under sniper fire" and running for safety with "our heads down." According to Sinbad, who provided entertainment on the trip along with the singer Sheryl Crow, the "scariest" part was deciding where to eat. As he told Mary Ann Akers of The Post, "I think the only 'red-phone' moment was: 'Do we eat here or at the next place.'"

AS shown in the Associated Press photograph of the greeting ceremony, they were not running to an airport building with their heads down. In fact Hillary Clinton and her party were greeted on the tarmac by smiling U.S. and Bosnian officials and even an eight-year-old Moslem girl, Emina Bicakcic, who then read them all a poem in English.

You can see the actual footage of Hillary walking out (certainly not under sniper fire) here:

Obama Aide: Bill Clinton Like McCarthy

Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign is trying to clarify comments by former President Clinton that seemed to question Barack Obama's patriotism - comments an Obama aide likened to Joseph McCarthy. Read More

Bill Clinton disses on the patriotism of other candidates in the race

"I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country," said Clinton, who was speaking to a group of veterans Friday in Charlotte, N.C. "And people could actually ask themselves who is right on these issues, instead of all this other stuff that always seems to intrude itself on our politics."
- Bill Clinton

This from an elder statesman, and former President.

This is not the first time Bill Clinton has made inappropriate
remarks as an attack dog for Hillary. Though she has reined him
in recently, in the earlier primary races the former president attracted
much other criticism. Following South Carolina's primary in January, he was accused of fanning racial tensions for appearing to cast Obama as little more than a black candidate popular in state with a heavily black electorate. He also criticized the news media for making a race story out of his comments.

Richardson says Clinton aides and advisors in the gutter

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson said Sunday aides to U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., use "gutter" politics to get their way.

After James Carville compared Bill Richardson to Judas this week following his endorsement of Barack Obama, Richardson said:

"I'm not going to get in the gutter like that, and you know, that's typical of many of the people around Senator Clinton. They think they have a sense of entitlement to the presidency."

Richardson has been critical of the ongoing fight for the Democratic nomination, but his scorn of such tactics has primarily been aimed at Clinton's camp.

"The campaign has gotten too negative," he said of the electoral battle.

"I just feel the time has come to come together behind a candidate."

James Carville (former Clinton Campaign Adviser) compares Bill Richardson to Judas

The reaction of some of Mr. Clinton’s allies to Bill Richardson's endoresement of Obama are more of the same from the Clinton camp:

An act of betrayal!
-James Carville, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton and a friend of Mr. Clinton.

“Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Easter and the Holy Week.

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, the nation's only Hispanic governor, is endorsing Barack Obama for president.

At one point Mr. Richardson had been circulated as potential running mates for Hillary Clinton.

Richardson is calling Obama a "once-in-a-lifetime leader" who can unite the nation and restore America's international leadership.

Despite his ties to both Hillary and Bill Clinton and her husband, the former president. He served as ambassador to the U.N. and as secretary of the Energy Department during the Clinton administration. Last month, Richardson and former President Clinton watched the Super Bowl together at the governor's residence in Santa Fe.

Richardson aid Obama "will be a historic and great president, who can bring us the change we so desperately need by bringing us together as a nation here at home and with our allies abroad."

The Clintons and Reverand Wright

During one of the most difficult periods in the presidency of Bill Clinton, he addressed a group of clerics at an annual prayer breakfast in September 1998 just as the Starr report outlining his involvement with Monica Lewinsky was about to be published. Among those in attendance, was the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., who is seen shaking hands with Mr. Clinton in a photograph provided today by the Obama campaign. Mr. Wright’s relationship with Senator Barack Obama, as his longtime pastor, has been the subject of considerable controversy in recent days because of incendiary excerpts of sermons Mr. Wright gave at their church, Trinity United Church of Christ, in Chicago. And according to the newly released schedules of Mrs. Clinton by the National Archives of her years as first lady, she was in attendance, too.

Hillary lies and is called "silly" over her foreign policy experience in Ireland Peace Process

Foreign Policy Experience?

"I helped to bring peace to Northern Ireland," Hillary told CNN on Wednesday.

Negotiators from the parties that helped broker the peace agreement in 1998 told The Daily Telegraph that her role was peripheral. They claimed she played no part in the political talks over the years -- or in the solution.

Hillary Clinton had no direct role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland and is a "wee bit silly" for exaggerating the part she played, according to Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former First Minister of the province.

More on Tax Returns: What does Hillary have to Hide?

In the face of her unwillingness to release her tax returns, Hillary Clinton has made the false case in this campaign that she is more electable because she has been fully vetted.

Senator Clinton has also claimed that she is too “busy” to release her tax returns.

Read More Here

Is there a Hillary Tax Return Gate Coming?

Tax Return-Gate?

Why won't Hillary Clinton release her tax returns "until the is the nominee"?

Hillary claims she has been "fully vetted".
Hillary claims there will be no more surprises.

Yet Hillary Clinton has thus far refused to release her tax returns.
She says she will do when she is the Democratic nominee for President.

What does she have to hide by releasing them now?

Obama released his returns last April, 2007.

What is Hillary afraid will be found in her returns?
Something that will help her lose the nomination?

Previous Democratic campaigners released their returns before they were the nominee.

According to the Washington Post,
John Kerry released his returns in December 2003, which was well before winning the nomination.
Al Gore's returns, were already public when he ran.
Other potential nominees like Dean, Clark, Kucinich, Gephardt, and Lieberman all released their returns early.

In 1992, Bill Clinton made his tax returns public before he was the nominee. Sort of.

BUT-- He didn't release his 1978-79 returns.

These were a bit of a smoking gun because they showed Hillary had made a 10,000% cattle-futures profit.

So, now why is it that Hillary isn't releasing her returns?

Hillary's returns could have something that could be negative to her campaign in them. If she releases her returns now, it would give Democratic voters the chance to judge her on what's in her returns, and vote accordingly. But if she waits until after she becomes the nominee, she figures she will still get the Democratic vote even if there are negatives. As a Democrat calling for change, people may not vote Hillary if they see the same old issues popping up in her tax returns again. Democratic primary voters and the Super Delegates might not like what they find, and vote Obama.

If she has nothing to hide, what is she hiding?

Hillary Squeaks a Victory in 3 of 4 states, Still Behind in Delegates

Obama began Tuesday with 11 straight wins and a lead in the delegates. According to the AP, 1,386 to 1,276. His margin was even larger 1,187 to 1,035 among pledged delegates chosen in primaries and caucuses.

Clinton has a very slim hope of closing the gap because Democrat primaries and caucuses allocate most of their delegates proportionally, meaning the loser of a close contest earns nearly as many delegates as the winner.

Even as she declared victory in the three states, Clinton knew that Tuesday's results were unlikely to close the delegate math.

On Tuesday, the former first lady won Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island, losing only Vermont. Enough to stay in the race, she said, and go "all the way."

That's not what many party leaders wanted to hear.

Now the question is will the powers of the Democratic party let Hillary try to tear down or will they call for her to quit and pull the party together? Either way the Republicans are happy she is still in the race. The longer the negatives fly Democrat on Democrat the better it is for them.

Richardson and other Democrats want and pressure Hillary to Quit

Just a couple days before the big voting in Ohio and Texas, pressure has been raised on Clinton to bow out. Top supporters of Senator Barack Obama, joined by at least one prominent but uncommitted Democrat, raised the pressure Sunday on Senator Hillary Clinton to bow out of the presidential nominating race if she fails to score clear victories in two big-state primary contests Tuesday.

"I just think that D-Day is Tuesday," said Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico, a former Democratic presidential hopeful who has yet to throw his weight behind either leading candidate. He said the increasingly negative campaign advertisements aired by both Democrats made it more urgent that the party unite quickly behind a nominee.

Richardson, said on CNN that "whoever has the most delegates after Tuesday, a clear lead, should be, in my judgment, the nominee."

Bill Clinton tells voters to vote for hope not fear!

A video from 2004 where Bill Clinton tells voters to
Vote for HOPE not FEAR.

Obama's message of HOPE as airy-fairy words.

And...in the video Bill is campaigning for John Kerry who has
given up on the Clinton message of Hope and endorsed Obama.

Hillary plays the "FEAR" card in negative TV AD

CBS News reported (AP) that Barack Obama has accused rival Hillary Clinton on Friday of trying to "play on people's fears to scare up votes" by airing a new TV ad showing sleeping children and asking who would be more qualified to answer a national security emergency call at 3 a.m.

"The question is not about picking up the phone. The question is: What kind of judgment will you make when you answer?"
Obama said.

"We've had a red phone moment. It was the decision to invade Iraq. And Senator Clinton gave the wrong answer. George Bush gave the wrong answer. John McCain gave the wrong answer,"
Obama said.

Kenya Tribes Rage: Angry at Hillary for Picture Smear

Angry tribal elders in Kenya are calling on Hillary Clinton to "clear her name" over any involvement in publication of photos of Barack Obama wearing a turban and African garb on a trip to his ancestral homeland.

The photo appeared nationwide after they were published on the Drudge Report Web site with a report that they had been circulated by Clinton campaign staffers.

The Drudge Report said the photos had been forwarded by a Clinton staffer with an e-mail that said, "Wouldn't we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC [Hillary Rodham Clinton]?"

The pictures show Obama wearing traditional Somalian garb on a 2006 visit to the Wajir region of Kenya, where his late father was born.

"The US government must apologize to us as a clan and the old man," Mohamed Ibrahim told Reuters, referring to a highly respected tribal elder who is also shown in the photos.

"We have been offended, and we cannot afford to just watch and stay silent."

Another low tactic: Hillary Clinton plays the Woman Gender Card

Latest Tactic: Hillary plays the Gender Card

During an interview on February 28 with Cynthia McFadden (ABC News) Hillary Clinton, says it's much harder for her to run for president as a woman than it is for her male opponent.

Asked why she thinks so many women may be feeling sorry for her, Clinton said,

"Every so often I just wish that it were a little more of an even playing field, but, you know, I play on whatever field is out there."

So, how easy is it for Obama, an African-American to run for president?

It's obvious that Hillary Clinton thinks, based on her comment, that a "level playing field" is easier to achieve for an African-American, than for a woman.

Makes one think--
Why does Hillary feel she has the right to the presidency without scrutiny -- and --
Is she that desperate that she has to now play the gender card?

2/26/08

On the day of the debates in Cleveland and with the Texas and Ohio primaries looming...

2/26/08

Former Democratic presidential candidate Senator Chris Dodd endorsed Sen. Barack Obama for president, calling on fellow Democrats "to come together."

As one of the most respected Senators in the Democratic party this is a worthy endorsement and another indicator it's time for Hillary to step back.

At a campaign event in Cleveland, Ohio, Dodd warned that a divisive campaign could damage the party.

"With Clinton on the attack, a recognized leader on foreign and military affairs is vouching for Obama's readiness," the Dodd adviser said.

Dodd is a senior member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.

It's time for Hillary to join Senator Dodd in her endorsement.

Obama: Kinds of political tricks and silliness you start seeing at end of campaigns'

ABC News' Sunlen Miller and Steve Portnoy Report:

In a radio interview with WAOI in San Antonio, Sen. Barack Obama commented about the photo on the website Drudge Report showing him dressed in traditional Somali attire.

"Everybody knows that whether it's me or Senator Clinton, or Bill Clinton, that when you travel to other countries they ask you to try on traditional garb that you have been given as a gift," he told WAOI, "The notion that the Clinton campaign would be trying to circulate this as a negative on the same day that Senator Clinton was giving a speech about how we repair our relationships around the world is sad. We are going to try to stay focused on what will make a difference in our foreign policy, including bringing the war in Iraq to an honorable end."

He noted that he believes Americans are saddened when they see "these kind of politics."

"The notion that they would try to use this to imply in some way that I'm foreign, I think is, you know, unfortunate," said Obama.

"These are the kinds of political tricks and silliness you start seeing at the end of campaigns."

Obama: Hillary taking false credit as co-president with Bill

LORAIN, Ohio — barack Obama said today Hillary Clinton presents herself as if she was "co-president" from 1993 to 2000.

Mr. Obama, holding a town hall forum at a wall board manufacturing plant here, said his criticism of her position on the North American Free Trade Agreement is fair because she includes her time as first lady for eight years as part of her claim to "35 years of experience."

"She has essentially presented herself as co-president during the Clinton years," the Illinois senator charged during a press conference after the town hall concluded. "Every good thing that happened she says she was a part of, and so the notion that you can selectively pick what you take credit for and then run away from what isn't politically convenient, that doesn't make sense."

Hillary accused Obama of plagarism in speeches. What is she doing here?

George Clooney compares his Oscar chances to Hillary

Hollywood icon George Clooney has already said Obama is his choice over Hillary.

Now he has written off his chances of winning the best actor prize at Sunday's Academy Awards, by calling himself the:

"Hillary Clinton of the Oscars."

Clooney, who is nominated for his performance in "Michael Clayton", told Time magazine that he expects the statuette to go to Ireland's Daniel Day-Lewis.

"For me, it's like being Hillary Clinton," Clooney told Time in its latest edition due out on Friday. "If it weren't for Barack Obama, it would have been a very good year."

Obama says Hillary is in the Silly Season with her Plagarism accusations

"The notion that I had plagiarized from one of my national co-chairs who gave me the line and suggested that I use it is silly," he replied. "This is where we start to get into silly season in politics and I think people start getting discouraged about it."

From the debate in Austin, Texas on Thursday night:

When Hillary Clinton accused presidential rival Barack Obama of plagiarism in a couple of his earlier speeches, it drew boos from a Democratic debate audience.

She ridiculed him as the candidate of "change you can Xerox."

Obama dismissed the charge out of hand, then turned the jeers to applause when he countered, "What we shouldn't be spending time doing is tearing each other down. We should be spending time lifting the country up."

George Clooney, Halle Berry, Hollywood are up for Obama, not Hillary

"This is not a campaign for president of the United States, this is a movement to change the world. You do not get 13,000 people in this auditorium with a campaign." - Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings

Increasingly when it comes to Barack Obama, his charms seem tough to resist, even for some of Hollywood’s biggest names.

"He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere"
- actor George Clooney

"I'll do whatever he says to do."
"I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear."
-actress Halle Berry

Hillary must yearn for the Bill Clinton era when everyone in Hollywood was aboard. Now as Obama is packing stadiums she is filling town halls with the same old rehtoric and tired old speeches. If even Hollywood can see it, why can't she. It's time for her to support Obama.

0 for 10 Hillary loses Hawaii to Obama

0 for 10

With the loss in the Hawaii primary on Tuesday, Hillary has now lost 10 straight primary contests to Obama.

If you watch and listen closely to the major news media, already there are small whispers starting about how it is time for her to give it up.

Obama wins 9 in a row, beats Hillary in Wisconsin, she refuses to acknowledge defeat

Barack Obama cruised past a fading Hillary Clinton in the Wisconsin primary Tuesday night, gaining an even bigger edge in the race for the Democratic nomination for president.

It was Obama's ninth straight victory over the past three weeks and ended any chances of her easy path to the nomination that had been expected just a few short weeks ago.

Clinton made no mention of her defeat in Wisconsin during a speech and appearance in Youngstown, Ohio. In a clear sign of who the front runner now is, most cable television networks including Fox and CNN cut away from coverage of Clinton's rally in Ohio when Obama took the stage in Houstan, Texas.

Even Russian President Putin Disses on Hillary Clinton

February 15, 2008

"At a minimum, a head of state should have a head," Putin said.

During the New Hampshire, Hillary remarked that Vladimir Putin "doesn't have a soul".

He was asked about the remark at his press conference yesterday, however, and indeed wasn't pleased.

He appeared to lash out at Senator Hillary Clinton — when a reporter quoted her.

Superdelegate and Black Leader Pulls Support From Clinton

Representative John Lewis, an elder statesman from the civil rights era and one of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s most prominent black supporters, said Thursday night that he planned to cast his vote as a superdelegate for Senator Barack Obama in hopes of preventing a fight at the Democratic convention.

“In recent days, there is a sense of movement and a sense of spirit,” said Mr. Lewis, a Georgia Democrat who endorsed Mrs. Clinton last fall. “Something is happening in America and people are prepared and ready to make that great leap.”

Mr. Lewis, who carries great influence among other members of Congress, disclosed his decision in an interview in which he said that as a superdelegate, he could not go against the wishes of the voters of his district, who overwhelmingly supported Mr. Obama.

“I’ve been very impressed with the campaign of Senator Obama,” Mr. Lewis said. “He’s getting better and better every single day.”

His comments came as fresh signs emerged that Mrs. Clinton’s support was beginning to erode from some other African-American lawmakers who also serve as superdelegates.

Representative David Scott of Georgia, who was among the first to defect, said he, too, would not go against the will of voters in his district.

RASMUSSEN POLL: Obama Takes Double Digit Lead; 49% to Clinton 37%...

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows Barack Obama opening a double-digit lead over Hillary Clinton in the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. Today’s results show Obama earning support from 49% of Likely Democratic Primary Voters while Clinton attracts 37%.

Perhaps the most stunning aspect of the Obama surge is that he now leads 46% to 41% among women.

Hillary is a "Sore Loser" after Primary,

Two nights in a row, Hillary refused to congratulate or acknowledge Obama after he won the contests that day in a big way.

On Tuesday in El Paso, hours after Virginia had been called for Obama, she stuck to her campaign stump speech and did not even mention his name, except in reference to his health care plan.

On Saturday night in Richmond, Virginia, Clinton spoke to a crowd of thousands at the state’s annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner, but she ignored Obama’s four victories in the primaries and caucus that day as well.

The courtesy of conceding a primary or caucus loss — and then congratulating your opponent — is by no means required. But it has become standard practice during campaign season.

This is yet another example of the kind of "change"
that can be forthcoming from Hillary.

Another Hillary Campaign Manager Quits

More defections from the Hillary campaign staff:

Clinton's Deputy Campaign Manager, Mike Henry quit. He gave his resignation yesterday morning but worked the last two days on a volunteer basis.

His departure is not entirely unexpected, as he was brought into the campaign by Patti Solis Doyle, who stepped down on Sunday.

In an e-mail sent to staff Henry wrote:

"As someone who has managed campaigns, I share the unique understanding of the challenges that the campaign will face over the next several weeks. Our campaign needs to move quickly to build a new leadership team, support them and their decisions and make the necessary adjustments to achieve the winning outcome for which we have all worked so hard for over a year now."

What shakeups will come next after the "Potomac-Beltway-Crabcake" primaries on February 12th in Virginia, Maryland, and DC?

Hillary campaign manager replaced; Obama beats Hillary in Maine

Hillary Clinton replaced her campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle with longtime aide Maggie Williams on Sunday. This shake up came as a surprise just hours after Barack Obama's sweep of three contests Saturday and shortly before the Illinois senator won caucuses in Maine on Sunday.

Wilder, the Nation's first elected black governor does not excuse Clinton comments

Former Virginia Governor Douglas Wilder, who was the nation's first elected black governor said Saturday he is not ready to excuse comments former President Bill Clinton made about Barack Obama.

In campaigning for his wife last month on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, Clinton called Obama's opposition to the Iraq war "a fairy tale."

"Barack Obama is not a fairy tale. He is real," former Virginia Gov. L. Douglas Wilder told reporters at a Democratic fundraiser as the former president spent the day campaigning for Hillary Rodham Clinton in Richmond and three other Virginia cities.

Bill Wilder, who is a grandson of slaves and currently serves as Richmond's mayor, has endorsed Obama.

Clinton also implied that an Obama victory in South Carolina would amount to a reward based on race, like the Rev. Jesse Jackson's 20 years earlier.

Wilder said the former president's comments stung him and other black voters and diminished their respect for Clinton.

"It's not just me (who) feels that; any number of people feel that," Wilder said. "A time comes and a time goes. The president has had his time."

Hillary Cries Again. Third Cry Since New Hampshire

Hillary Cries Again

Gore Endorsement of Obama Rumor is Going Around Clinton Campaign.

Clinton Wants More Debates With Obama; Refused Debates in 2006

Clinton Scoffed at Debates in 2006, Loves Them Now
Read the Article Here From ABC News

Now that she has lost Super Tuesday
, Hillary Clinton has challenged Barack Obama to debate five more times.

"One of the things I've always appreciated about the Democratic Party is its willingness to engage the toughest issues facing our country, even if we don't always agree on how best to solve them," Clinton campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle wrote today to Obama campaign manager David Plouffe. "I was disappointed to see that Senator Obama rejected the idea of having more debates given the fact that he and Senators Clinton have had only a single one-on-one debate. I think we can do better and so does Hillary."

"I'm sure we will accept at least one," Obama said. "I don't think anybody's clamoring for more debates. We've had — what — 18 debates so far. We are still trying to sort through our schedule, because it's very important for me to spend time with voters."

Clinton had a different attitude in 2006 when she was running for the Senate. In the primary race she refused to debate with anti-war challenger Jonathan Tasini.

They never actually ever answered the question about why they wouldn't debate -- the campaign kind of just laughed it off.

Now that her funds and her campaign are not where they expected, Hillary is flip flopping on her desire to use debates.

Is Hillary Violating Campaign Finance Reform? Bill Clinton Thinks So

Money Magazine has that Bill Clinton earned $41 million in speaking fees in the first six years of his post-presidency.

The Clinton's net worth is estimated at $34 million.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Bill Clinton could be due up to $20 million from severing his ties with Ron Burkle, whose Yucaipa fund he advised.

Hillary just "loaned" 5 million dollars to her campaign. How much more can
or will they put in?

Is this another Clinton double talk, flip-flop? Will they keep financing her run for the Presidency even at the cost of violating campaign finance reform?

In Iowa earlier this year Bill Clinton said:

They say you couldn’t stop me from spending all the money I’ve saved over the last five years on Hillary’s campaign if I wanted to, even though it would clearly violate the spirit of campaign finance reform.

This statement might just come back to bite them.

Is this the kind of change and reform the Clintons are talking about?

Hillary Clinton Loans Her Campaign Money. Is she coming up short?

Clinton Loans Her Campaign $5 Million, May Give Even More

Is her campaign in trouble financially?

There are reports of even her top campaign staff working without pay.

Hillary Clinton's campaign confirmed that she’d already put forth a lona for $5 million of her own money in late January.

At her news conference this Wednesday, Hillary acknowledged the loan, saying: “I loaned the campaign $5 million from my money. That’s where I got the money. I did it because I believe very strongly in this campaign, and we had a great month fund-raising in January, broke all our records, but my opponent was able to raise more money and we intended to be competitive – and we were – and I think the results last night proved the wisdom of my investment.”

Her advisers says she’s considering another loan because money is tight now — the mega-primaries yesterday were quite the financial drain.

With big primaries coming up in places like Ohio and Texas, she is weighing whether to lend her campaign more money.

Either way this news cannot be viewed as a positive...stay tuned for more.

Super Tuesday: Obama Claims More Delegates and Wins More States

Obama Claims More Delegates and Wins More States

The momentum of Barack Obama's campaign surged passed Hillary Clinton in network tallies of the number of delegates the candidates racked up last night.

Clinton was portrayed in many news accounts as the night’s big winner, but Obama’s campaign says he wound up with a higher total where it really counts — the delegates who will choose the party’s nominee at this summer’s Democratic convention.

Obama also won more states than Hillary

14 to 8 by State!

CLINTON: AR, AZ, CA, MA, NY, NJ, OK, TN
OBAMA: AK, AL, CT, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, MN, MO, ND, NM, UT

With the delegate count still under way, NBC News said Obama appears to have won around 840 delegates in yesterday’s contests, while Clinton earned about 830 — “give or take a few,” Tim Russert, the network’s Washington bureau chief, said on the “Today” show.

Hillary's daughter Chelsea Clinton violates State Law Inside Polling Place

Posted Feb. 5, 2008 http://www.wtnh.com/Global/story.asp?S=7827524

Hillary Clinton's daughter, who has been campaigning across the country on her behalf was inside a New Haven polling place at 6:00 a.m.

Is this an big deal?

According to state law, candidates or a candidate's representative, such as someone wearing a sign, have to stay 75-feet away from polling places "on the day of any primary".

Chelsea Clinton daughter was supposedly delivering a box of coffee to poll workers and was seen talking with a firefighter in New Haven.

"I did not consider it an issue because she didn't come here, as far as I'm concerned, to influence anything here or disrupt us," said New Haven election moderator Nilda Torres.

The Clinton incident prompted an e-mail from the Secretary of the State's office to the New Haven Registrar of Voters, reminding them of the 75-foot law.

Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz said, "I did speak with the Clinton campaign this afternoon and they apologized and said it wouldn't happen again."

No one has filed a formal complaint with the state Elections Enforcement Commission about Chelsea Clinton's early morning visit.

The Elections Enforcement Division says it's never had to interpret whether "on the day of any primary" means when the polls open at 6:00 a.m., or when the day starts at 12:01 a.m.

"Any citizen can file a complaint with Election's Enforcement, and they are in charge of enforcing the election laws in our state," Secretary Bysiewicz said. "It's our job to advise people what the law is and we did do that early this morning."

See the state statute here.

Hollywood: George Clooney Endorses Obama over Clinton

George Clooney is the latest in a growing list of celebrities who have endorsed Obama.

Clooney, speaking to reporters at the annual Oscars nominees luncheon, said he had been a long-time backer of Obama and was impressed by the Illinois senator's increased momentum.

"I've been an Obama guy for a year and a half and I'm very excited by his campaign," Clooney said. "It just seems that the more time he's out there, his numbers keep growing. So I'm very, very encouraged."

Hillary's bridge to nowhere. Experience in Earmarks and Pork Barrel

Hillary Clinton often claims she has 35 years of experience. In truth and in politics she has only been an elected official for seven years.

Yet, in just seven years she has become an expert in abusing the system.

Since taking office in 2001, Hillary Clinton has "earmarked" more than $2.3 billion in federal appropriations for projects in her state of New York.

"Earmarking" allows politicians to avoid the regular budget process and write bills that pass without ever being voted on.

Hillary has pushed through 261 earmarks, more than any other presidential candidate.

**Earmarking is often referred to as "pork" or "pork barrel spending".

The most famous of pork is from Alaskan Senator Ted Steven's half a billion dollar bridge to nowhere.
